I think the problem was that the ammo/gun panic started last December right before the gun was released. So I'm sure Kahr was working to fill other orders before throwing out new products. Glad we're finally seeing them now. For a quality 380 at around $350-$400, the CW380 is a no brainer.

P380 problem. Help? -----Well, I love my PM9. I had a few problems with it failing to return to battery due to premature slide lock when I was breaking it in. I'm not really sure if the problem was my thumb hitting slide stop or if the problem was w/ the gun itself, but the last couple hundred rounds have been great.

This kind of ammo sensitivity is an issue with nearly every small pistol on the market, in every caliber. The smaller the gun, the more finicky it will be with ammo. Accuracy with the P380 was fantastic.
Apr 28, 2009 · The latecomers (Kahr, Taurus, and Desert Eagle) are gonna miss out because 1) their pistols are ugly (except Kahr), 2) 380 ammo is hard to find, and 3) their product is too expensive. Impatient folks are gonna look at other options like the 9mm.
The Kahr 380 is a bit smaller than the Ruger but an ounce or so heavier. The Kahr is much more money but is probably a much more enjoyable gun to shoot. With all that said, based on my PM9 and the great reviews the P380 has received, I'm sure the Kahr 380 is a wonderfully engineered, great shooting mousegun. Don
Mar 04, 2019 · 1) fiocchi 380 tends to be loaded light and may not be good for a modern tilting barrel design. most people outside the US are shooting old crap blowback .380's so Fiocchi is likely loading their ammo accordingly. it's not crap ammo it's just not warm enough to cycle some 380's like a kahr.
Sill have problems Sill have problems and having a gunsmith check it out before sending back a second time to Kahr. I think Kahr need to spend some money on designing the p380 better to start with. The Kahr P380 took about 800 rounds to break in, but right now it eats anything. It also went back to the factory once. I bought it when they first came out more than 2 years ago and it was stiff as a dead cat. It would not chamber a round no matter what. But they are better out of the box now as I understand it. Your best bet is on the Kahr P380.

Mar 12, 2010 · I had problems adjusting to my first Kahr trigger years ago. I took it to a local gunsmith who had worked DA revolvers for me so I figured he could do something with the Kahr. Having never felt the trigger pull on a Kahr before then, he declared it near perfect and refused to mess with it. Keep practicing and before you know it you'll love it.
THE PROBLEMS CAME LATER. USING THE CRIMSON TRACE LASER WITH THE TAURUS 738 TCP. He let me try his Taurus 738 TCP with the Crimson Trace Laserguard. The laser was nice and bright and provided a very defined red dot at 50 feet. The only problem was that the light would go off when I pressed the trigger. My friend had the same problem at first.

After Kahr returned my P380 for the second time is seeems to be working fine. I have fired about 200 rounds and the only issue was one time the slide locking open before the magazine was empty. Kahr send details of the work they did both times but trying to find out the status of the repairs after several weeks was a disappointment.

The Kahr P380 is smaller than a lot of people's first cellphones, and the beauty of this firearm is that it can it can be carried easily in most pockets. There's a huge range of pocket holsters available for subcompact guns like the Kahr P380.

In the minds of many, the K9 and MK9 rendered most, if not all, .380 and .32 ACP autos obsolete. The only problem with both of these pistols was they were constructed of all stainless steel.
